a while back i moved my betta to a 20lt tank as it was starting to eat my cherry shrimp, he is in there on his own, i have in my main tank 4 or 5 large ammano shrimp and wondered is it too late to add them to the betta tank, would he see this tank as his territory now or shall i just leave them be in the main tank

No, it's not too late. As long as they are too big to eat and have places to hid from the fish they should be fine. Now...if they get eaten don't yell at me. ;) Really though, for betta they seem to stake out a territory the minute you put them in water so...

ok thanks, now begs the question how do i find and catch the little devils in a 300lt well planted tank

A trap is the best method I've found. Just find a small bottle with a narrow neck. Put some algae wafer in it and once they go inside to eat you can cover the opening and simply lift them out of the tank.

:) Catch and release!

well i moved over three of the biggest and he attacked them, :( hes such a bully

Are you talking about the shrimp? Who did he attack?

Feisty little blighter then. I had a Fighter that mucnhed my cherries, but left my amanos alone. Did he kill the shrimp, or was he just being inquisitive?

no he killed two, chopped them in half, hes a very naughty boy
