Can I Keep Cardinal Tetras With Angelfish?

i heard cardinals grow more bigger than neons so i decided to get a school of cardinal tetras. Im currently growing them out in a smaller 15gallon so they hopefully will get a little too big for the angelfish's mouth so my question is: 'can cardinals that reach a certain size be compatible with a large angelfish???' Anyone had successfully kept angels and cardinal together?

you can keep them together. you are going to get some people who say you can and some who swear you can't. you're just going to have to try it out yourself.

hehe,,,,,well as VidVid stated,,,,,,i had a 5 inch angel and saw a fish tank with angels and cardinals together and thought dan thats nice....
went out brought 6, floated bag for 2hours then released them after feeding angels,,,,,,one got ate within two minutes and she was chasing the others relentlassly around tank, so i gave them away,,,,
theres a lot of people on here who have this mix, what i recon you should do is get jvui angels<v small> and medium sized cardinals,,,make sure cards are in tank at least a few days before, then go for the angel

i have and there doing fine but when i fist got the neaons i did lose one due to the angel eating one but there fine now all i would say is dont get small ones so the angels can not eat them

I had one with my angel and the angel pull its fins to bits the fish died as a result mate
