Can I Keep A Cherry Shrimp In This Tank?

It's 2.5 liters with a somewhat strong undergravel filter, but no heater. I plan on adding sand and java moss. Could I keep a single cherry shrimp in it? If no cherries, would any other shrimp work with no heater?

I also found a 5 liter if the other tank doesn't work.

2.5 L is rather small, but you could try fairy shrimp in it, they are the fresh water version of brine shrimp and in parts of the USA you can get green ones. I would be weary of even using 5L for cherry shrimp, sure they are small and have a low bioload but if you should happen to get a berried female, before you know it you'll have heaps of babies.
