Can I Get Guppies?

basically i used to have guppies, they bred etc. then they died, so then i bought 7 zebra danios, i have 2 8 month old female guppies which are doing well but im wondering if i can go and buy some males because im not sure wether they'll get eaten or not.
please help

Zebra danio's are generally fine with guppies, but they may on occasion nipe, but this quite rare, just watch them, and remember to treat with anti fungal if they do to stop infections setting in to quickly as the fins do recover.

However the danios will eat the fry as quickly as the females drop them

also if you get males, remember you need to keep at LEAST two females to every male, preferably more than three females per male - - males can often pester a female so much while trying to mate, that she becomes exhausted and dies from stress - - with more females it allows him to spread around his attention
