Yes of course you can! I feed my tanks live daphnia fresh in at the lfs every Friday. They love it. I tip a bag in and a lot falls straight to the bottom and they have a good feast. Healthy for them. Daphnia is good for them as it prevents constipation and is the only food they need that day. Frozen is fine if you can't get it live from your lfs.
