hi there,
i have a 15 us gallon tank, which currently holds 9 harlequin rasboras, and 5 corydoras trilineatus. I would like to add some shrimp, can i? which would you recommend?
thanks
george

With the corys you would have to use a shrimp big enough that they cannot eat or kill. The rasboras should be ok with them. You can try a bamboo shrimp thats about 2.5 inches long but i would stay away from ghost shrimp as the corys might try to make a meal out of them.

Pretty much any shrimp, i've seen 3" corys in a tank full of very small(around 1") amano shrimp in my lfs, and there didnt appear to be any problems. Amano shrimp rock. They will need somewhere to hide when they shed their skins though, that applies for all shrimp.

I have five cories with around 6 ghost shrimp, never had a problem with them. However, I do have a large piece of driftwood, that has large enough crevices for the shrimp, but not large enough for any of the shrimp. They shrimp have even been trying to breed. So they must not feel very threatened.
