Here's my stock:
10 Gal US
1 betta (male)
3 bronze corydoras
4 ghost shrimp

Danios prefer to be kept in groups of at least 5 and are quite an active fish. I know some Danios are fin nippers and not sure if these fall under that category. You may also find that your Betta has made the tank his "home" and may not like having new tankmates. They can be territorial and may attack any new additions. :/

I put the ghosties in yesterday and the betta just swam and hid from them for a while,he's not too territorial in my experiences with him

They aren't generally with bottom dwellers, it's other fish sharing the tank thast may cause a problem.
All Bettas are different, some people have had great success keeping them in community tanks and some have not.
They are solitary fish on the whole which is why a lot of people keep them either on their own or with a couple of bottom-dwelling fish.

I'm considering getting a bigger tank something like a 29 gal.Would getting transferred to another tank boggle their fishie minds or would they love it?

I think a bigger tank would be ideal but you may still have the same problem with the Betta. :/

even if I did,the danios would at least have room to scatter though. but on a serious note,he's half scared of his own relfection so I doubt he'd be aggressive enough to go after them.

How long has the betta been with the other fish? My Leo was the sweetest thing ever, then after a month randomly started taking out all the corydoras. So now he lives on his own!

Don't get just one danio, get at least five if you want them to be happy. I think you'd also need a bigger tank as they are extremely active and love to zip around. If you get the bigger tank then yeah, get the group of danios. They might shred your poor betta's fins though, just keep an eye on him and have a small tank ready incase something does go wrong.

ok thanks guys.I was just wondering,if I were to get a new tank, how do I errr transport said finned ones.

If you run the new filter alongside your exixting one in the 10G for a week or so it will help build up the bacteria. Once you've set up your new tank, you can then put the filter in. It should only be a matter of days before it is cycled.
You then add the fish the same way as normal, adding a few at a time and keeping an eye on your water stats. :good:
