Hey all

let me explain why its a fish in cycle before people think i rushed into buying my first tank without reading anything

I upgraded my 60 liter aquarium to a 195 liter i put my older filter media into my new tetratec 1200 to seed it but did not realize i had to feed the bacteria with ammonia (seems quite a bit of a durrr moment now :p) so it got left for a couple of days with no fish in i then added 5 guppys 2 of which died because of ammonia poisoning (i think) then i realized i was doing a fish in cycle i felt very bad indeed for the fish!

now i understand how to do a fish in cycle and i believe im coming to the end of the cycle will it be ok for me to add a fluval u4 to the other side of the tank or will this mess that cycle up somehow? it will be coming today or Tomorrow i think.

Sorry for the long message and thanks in advance!
