Ok my tank has been healthiest its been in long time water etc, no fish ill or signs of illness before anyone asks lol. But i found one of my guppies who was heavily pregnant last night, she was by inlet pipe looks like shes had just over 1/2 her fry but her belly still shows some were still there. Id kept her in the main tank as normal and let her get on with it as i have fry in other tank at moment anyway.
New at keeping guppies etc really as had oscar etc before. is this common or does it happen every now and again? im just guessing was the stress poor old girl.

hi i had a female guppy which was heavily pregnant, i put her in a breeders net and she gave birth to a few, day after she died, some still inside her. female guppies get easily stressed when pregnant, and stress is a killer for these guys. the thing with guppies is that they produce that many fry that sometimes its all to much for them.
