Never heard of a fish getting a desease from a pea.
Only if you let alot of the peas rot in the gravel and cause water problems.
Always best to remove uneaten food from the bottom of a tank after a day.

it is said that frozen bloodworm are prone to being full of bacteria. which if your fish are healthy is not too much of a problem, though can be bad for inverts like Crayfish. if some of the food is not eaten, there is a slight chance you could get problems. but its not that often you hear of it even with Crayfish. so i shouldn't worry too much. keep a healthy tank and things will be fine.
