Fish Crazy
This is REALLY weird, I have never seen something like this before.
Last night I noticed one of my female guppies is bent at the tail, as in her tail is at an almost 90 degree angle to the rest of her body. She can still move it and can swim (but wonkily of course) and she seems to be staying near the top of the tank.
I seperated her, switched off the lights and fed her - she ate normally. She is still alive this morning.
I have had her since she was a fry, so I know she was not in a too-small tank at an LFS or something. My other guppies from the same set of fry are fine. She was perfectly healthy and straight yesturday and there are no other physical symptoms, so it looks to me like an injury. There are no large or agressive fish, just some neon tetras, bamboo fan shrimp, baby clown loaches and a whole load of guppy fry.
Anyone ever heard of anything like this? Can I do anything to fix her?
