Can Endler's, Guppies, Neons And Cories Eat Peas?

Actually it's a great thing to add to their diet. Too many people feed only flake & frozen food, which can lead to digestive problems in many fish. Veggies solve this problem, pumpkin is in season now, time for me to pick one up.

I've fed my fish peas, carrots, zuccini, cucumber, green beans, nearly every vegetable I've run across. I have an oscar that loves zuccini, and really pouts if he doesn't get a spirulina tab every evening.

Can't hurt any of them, as Tolak says it helps their digestion. You will probably find that the livebearers go ecstatic over them (they are quite herbivorous in the wild), but that the corys are a bit more indifferent, at least that's what I've found.

oh and to add to Tolak's list: broad beans, lettuce, spinach, chard and sprouts have also been very successful in my tanks

Wow... didn't know. I've been feeding my livebearer 4 days a week on flake, 2 on live, one "on diet" :p I guess today they will get to try some veggies... regarding the pumpkin, (or any veggies for that matter) do you cook them? Do you let them float or sink them? (im thinking of wrapping some plant weights around them and letting them sink...).

Thanks!
Michele
