Can bettas co-reside with Albino Catfish?

I plan to put in an albino catfish so i dont have to clean the tank ^_^

If there's any other catfish that they might be able to live with, i'd love to hear about it.

i've also got a 12cm x 12 cm(diameter) circular tank. so if we calculate the volume, this equates to:1357cm^3

therefore, 1 357.168 cubic centimeter = 1.357 168 liter

I heard of it. I want to try it in my ten gallon with juvis, but everyone says "pygmy or panda" since the tank is ten gallons. However, since you probably have an albino bronze, perhaps they can live with your fish, but in 20 gallons. Oh, and they need to live in groups of four, and you still need to clean your tank, there will be dung. Cory cats also need food to themselves.

please tell me that you mean 12 inch by 12 inch, 12cm by 12 cm is, as you worked out 1.3L and this is a ridiculously small tank for a betta, although they can survive in a tank that size they will be miserable and probably sick as the water would foul really quickly. as far as i am aware, there are no catfish that would survive in a tank that size. and they would likely kill each other anyway with so little space for territory.

also as jourdy said, there is nothing that you can put into your tank that means you don't have to clean it. some catfish (plecs, bristlenose etc) will graze on algae, and some are scavengers (corydoras etc) and will root out any uneaten food from the bottom, but they all still poo. so you still need to gravel vac and water change on a regular basis.

it's not recommended to buy an algae eater or scavenger just to do a job in a tank, much more sensible to do it yoursef with an algae scraper, or reducing the amount fed.
if you want the catfish just because you like them, thats a different matter. but you will still need enough room, so please tell us what type of albino catfish you are interested in, and please clear up the confusion as to tank size. (if its inches then its 22L) and again as jourdy said you will need to provide a food source for the catfish too, they cannot survive indefinitely on algae and scraps. sinking algae wafers are usually a good choice.
