Can Anyone Tell Me How To Connect This Eheim External Filter?

I bought a second filter from ebay. It is EHEIM professional II, it includes a heater inside as well and tempeture adjust. However i do not know how to connect the pipes with the filter. As i can not find the menu.I am afraid to break something if i force it. How should i connect those two pipes with the filter? Can anyone give me some suggestion? Many thanks!
