Hello there!
Seems like a long time since I've been on this forum. Life got in the way but for anyone who remembers me, my tank cycled before Christmas
I currently have 2 honey gourami, 5 green neon tetra, 4 pygmy corydoras, 2 cherry shrimp and 3 zebra snails.
However, when I bought my pygmy corydoras (this was about 1 month ago), I noticed there was a tiny tiny fish (about 5mm in length) that had probably gotten into the net by accident when I got my fish from the fish shop. I put it into the tank anyway, although I was worried that the gouramis would end up having a tasty meal...
I hadn't seen this fish for ages so assumed that it was eaten (oh noes
)until the other day I found it swimming around. It's grown quite a bit now. It doesn't have barbels, seems to have a totally different profile and also seems to have a orange and black dorsal fin which is making me think it's not a pygmy corydora... So what is it? It's difficult to take pictures as it's still small and moves around a lot (also my camera skills aren't amazing!) but here are some of the best photos I could get:
Can anyone ID this fish? Will I have to remove it from my tank??
