Can Anyone Help Me Identify This Strange Fish?

Hi

I found a fish in the Andaman sea, on the north coast of George Town in Malaysia - can anyone try and identify it from my description?

The fish is thin - about 1 cm.
It was about 4.5 inches long.
It was brownish in colour.
It looked so much like a rolled up autumn leaf that I didn't think it was a fish at first.
It seemed to have just one fin (a tail fin on one end) and possibly some sort of mouth on the other.
It was floating in the sea right near the shore and if I touched down on the water next to it it would swim as fast as lightning to a spot about 2 ft away.
I don't have a photo because I had nothing to catch it in.

Does anyone know this fish?

So... a marine fish?

Could it be a Filefish? they can be very leaf like, have a scroll through these pictures and see if they look similar...
