as it will be my first tank anyone tell me if its worth it please?

cheers.

lol thats impossible without dimensions. If you multiply the LW&H in inches then divide by 231 you have your gallons

It looks like 10 gallons maybe, which is 37 liters.

17.5 gallons. If it's acrylic it's worth it

it doesnt say if its acrylic or not im in 2 minds weather to go for it or not so i dunno what to do if i do i need to pick it up tomoz which is no probs just wanted abit of advice before i make my decision.

true thanks for the advice my best bet is to travel tomoz and have a look at it anything i shud look out for apart from the obvious leeks etc...

check the seals, the top plastic part for cracks and leaks. it might actually be worth it as its a pretty good brand of tank. And see if you can get anything else with it like a stand

ok thanks. just 1 more question if i decide to go with it isit any other fish i can add to the tank or do u think its at its max if so what would you recommend?

if not im not that fussed on gouramis so if decide to rehome them 3 of them would could i get in place of them?

sorry for all the questions. cheers

P.S when im transportin these home in the tank isit better to remove 1/4 or half of the water? will b about a hours drive back home if so do i put tap water back into the tank or?????

i personally would rehome the gouramies, cat and angel and keep the rest. http://www.liveaquaria.com <--check that site to see what you like first. Pick a handful and post it to get advice. You can narrow down your search by minimum tank size( which for you would be 20) and temperament(you want peaceful) i would stick with " fish for beginners and tetras. just watch out for their specific care requirements.

PS- your questions are not a problem whatsoever. ask more by all means

NEVER move a tank with water in it. Water weighs a little over 8lbs per gallon so imagine 50lbs or more on glass  If the tank is still running when you pick it up, which i assume it will be, then bag the fish like the petstore does, emtpy the tank, and keep the filter media submerged in water. You should have no problem with a 1 hour trip. As for filling it with tapwater, not a problem, just make sure your using dechlorinator. Make sure the water gets heated to the right temperature and dont forget to acclimate the fish properly! HTH

i personally like guppys if i remove the gourmis and angel how many would u recommend if any that is? males or females?

also like bettas

also shrimp but would that be ok with the catfish on the bottom?

p.s also i have no fish bags and neither does this other person will some sort of bucket be ok?
