I currently have...

29 gallon: 4 bettas (1 m 3 f the m is not aggressive and has been with the f's for 7 months, so don't make me explain myself again if you say it's "wrong",) 2 tetras (1 blackskirt, 1 red-eye and I don't like them so I might give thm away,) 1 paradise fish/gourami, 3 cories

I was thinking of adding some more cories, and maybe a few other fish...

What's you're opinion on this? Do you think I can add more? What should I add if I can?

P.S. I hate my tetras, don't tell me to buy more, I might give them away or do something with them.

im not so keen on my red eye tetras either. I got them as a present and theres just something evil about them :S

4 bettas sounds ok if you lose the male.....i know because ive done the same as you with male/female and it worked well at 1st 8months then suddenly boom and to keep paradise fish in there and gouramis is seriously not a good idea but if you dont want to listen then dont

if i was you id lose the male betta....lose the paradise.....
3 female bettas
6 corys
african drawf frogs :good:

id move the male out, the paradise, the black skirt, and the red eye. then you could get more cories, and afew ottos. is it just those kinds of tetras you dont like or tetras in general?? if its just those tetras then you could try a group of 3-6 black neond, neons, or cardnals. my females have all done great with guppies(both male and female), what i believe to be a female muppy, a bn plec, and 5 black neons. im not sure what else to tell you other than those at the moment, but there are other fish you can add though.

I would agree that you should remove the male betta. I, too, had one male that was the exception to the rule. He lived in a tank with a female. They were great, til they spawned for the first time. After that, he got the typical male attitude towards her. He was still very gentle, but she couldn't stay with him unless they were spawning.

As far as tetras, I love my red eyes. Why don't you like yours? And how are they evil?
