Can A Non Aquatic Plant Cause Cloudyness

Hi Zoe,

Where did you buy the non-aquatic plant?

BTT :p

I stay away from non-aquatics to be on the safe side. I dont know if it would make your tank cloudy though? :S

Dont think the plant is the cause, its a bacterial bloom common in tanks that are not fully cycled. I would be checking for nitrite and ammonia and doing water changes to reduce them for the fish. You could also get some fast growing plants a big bunch of hornwort or other fast grower would help with the water quality until the tank is cycled.

o_O if she told you it was non aquatic and was for ornaments, Whyd you buy it?

If it was non aquatic, You would know it cant live underwater,

In the long term ,WHen the non Aquatic plant is dying and melting they Could mess around with your water and turn it cloudy. snt stuff

I bought it, becuase she said they do well in aquariums. and she has got them in hers

dont now that much about plants

Zoe

I think she was telling you fibs.
a land living plant cant really live in water,
just as frozen food cant be kept in a fridge else it will go off :)
