hi all. unfortunatly recently my male convict died and he had mated with another convict before his death. if i buy another can he fertilize the eggs?

I Don't think so.the convict that already had mated and still alive will deffend the eggs and it will take the new convict as an enemy and may make a little problem

No, even if the female suddenly said 'oh hi, dont know you, but come on in and fertilise these for me' they would be past being viable, they need fertlising within a small time frame to be ok.
