Another stupid question, but it bugs me not knowing.
I have 1 male Dwarf Gourami and 3 females. The females look bigger each day, almost to the point of popping it appears. They do poo. They eat fine.
This has been going on for a few weeks without breeding. It's ok if they don't breed. I just don't want them to get to big and have some sort of rupture.
Is there any health risk to the females if they stay swollen with eggs?
I figured they'd do like my rasboras and eventually return to normal size if they didn't lay eggs.
