Or even like a Firemouth and a Keyhole?
I wasn't sure what the deal was with that. I haven't seen anyone keeping more than one kind of Cichlid together yet, so I wasn't sure. :p

If so, how big would the tank have to be? Pretty big, I imagine?

Hmm i'm not sure. The guys at my lfs said that its not a good idea to house two pairs of dwarf chiclid together in a tank that was less than 150 litres. I dont know about keyholes though, but im interested now to see what someone else says.

Keyholes are a lot more placid than most Cichlids but they are also quite shy.
If I was to house them with Firemouth Cichlids, I would aim for a 4ft tank minimum and introduce the Keyholes first.
Even though Firemouths aren't overly aggressive, they can be a bit boisterous, so I'd make sure there were plenty of plants, hiding places etc.
As for Rams and Keyholes, I wouldn't mix the two together. I found my Keyholes do better with a temperature of 24C, whereas Rams prefer a temperature of 26C+.
