Cambo Type Female? Help She's Acting Weird! See Last Post

Marked in a tank at my LFS was "imported Cambo type feamle" £8 I was interested as this LFS has only just started getting CT's in and VT's. Had a look at some planish females and this little thing was poking her head round a flower pot. She has loads of rays so she's def not a VT but what do they mean by cambo type? she isnt 2 colours? or white with different fins? is it a different type of betta?

She has yellow eyes which I thought was unusual! Any thoughts Id be interested to hear them!

No idea, but she's a pretty one! Absolutely LOVE the coloring.

You're right, she's not a cambo. Looks Dragon in there somewhere judging by the scales. Cant see the rays clearly, but probably came from a HM spawn? It may of come from a line with Cambo's, so maybe thats why they had it marked up as they did

Thanks couldnt resist when she was getting all nibbled on, her tail is a bit damaged here is a pic of her tail her rays branch into 4?

Very young, looks like she's only about 3 months old so the finnage and colour isn't fully developed. Judging by the branching either a HM or a HMPK, pineapple yellow. Hard to tell if she's going to come out as a full dragon or just have a strong iridescent wash. At any rate, I am exceedingly jealous, I would have snapped her up in an instant too!

Thanks she's doing well at the moment I thought she looked dragony but it didnt occur to me it would develop further! Also nice to know that she is pineapple! Ive never had one of those before I was thinking of putting her with Zen my HM / FT boy who is white in hopes to get some unusual yellows / greens, what do you think to that NettyBronze modaz? I have now made you one person ! lol Nenze that would make it shorter!
I still have some pairs from my Iridescents but think they can go to new homes and will focus on whites and pastels like I wanted.

No I was trying to think of something cute like about her being a lucky find or to do with pineapple maybe Im rubbish at names! but I dont want to call her anything like findy or pineapply lol

What about Sunny or Sunshine? Or Dollar? Theres a kids rhyme that goes: find a Penny pick it up, all day long you have good luck.

Shes the colour of an Aus $1 and $2 coin here.

I would go with Penny but if I get a girl puppy in summer Im going to call her penny as she will be a golden colour! I liked the idea of Nugget but it seems a bit boyish!

Oh she doesnt seem well this evening she's staying at the top of the water and not really breathing properly bit worried Ive put some general meds in her tank she just looks phased out, her water is fine heat is normal she looks like something has stressed her She ate a pellet last night her dorsal is erect but she's not swimming around she's just hovering in one place, little pecs going like the clappers but just hovering there she doesnt respond when I go up to her tank but by all other accounts she looks fine and her torn caudal is clean no fin rot
