okay a couple of weeks ago i lost all of my fish to Camallanus Worms except for 4 baby guppies. i moved them to a clean tank. well tonight i noticed another Camallanus Worm hanging out of one of my female guppies anus. Then i saw one on a peice of gravel. So i ran to get the meds I ordered to use on my sick guppies, but never got a chance to because they all died. So anyways, I put in some of the meds and all of a sudden I start seeing a ton of White worms wiggling around in the tank. it looked like they were dying. they would wiggle then just move with the water, then wiggle some more. Where they heck did they come from? I'm going to check to see if the Camallanus Worm falls out of the female in the morning, if it does, i'm sure i have killed them all i guess. Should i do a 25% or 50% water change in the morning and add more meds??? Any help would be great. these are small teenage guppies and the last I have, I want to save them :(

The are the worms and they are dying so don't worry, they are only red when they have been sucking on blood.

oh so the white ones are the Camallanus Worms? wow i've got tons of them that i didnt even know about! thats great to hear they are dying. the RED Camallanus Worm has already fallen out of my female guppy that fast.

Should i do a water change in the morning and add more meds?

okay thanks. its a pig wormer so im guessing the directions dont really help anyways lol one little teaspoon treats a 100 lb pig  so i didnt put much in the tank...ive read you cant over dose, maybe ill add a pinch more in the morning

but yes ill do a gravel vac asap in the morning to rid of the dead worms. thank you so much wilder :D

Good luck, hope they make it to adults, bless them.
