Above is the link i purchased and got today. I set'd it up like few hours ago. I don't think it's working... i dont see any bubbles... Is it supposed to be like that for a certain time? Thanks for the replys.

HERE is the link, just go down the page a bit and you will find info on Nutrafin units.

Just use ordinary bread yeast, sugar and bicarbonate of soda, or skip the bicarb if you dont have any to hand, fill up the sugar to mark inside the cannister add half a teaspoon of yeast and add tepid water, if you have bicarb you can add some of that as well, about half to a full teaspoon is plenty, do not add hot water just tepid water or you will kill the yeast, close the lid tightly and make sure there are no air leaks and within a short while you will start to get bubbles, the satchets that come with these units are useless so dont bother with them again, just do your own mixes.

When you start to see bubbles going up the ladder because it is new they can get stuck, this is normal, after a while a type of coating will cover the ladder and will assist the bubbles to travel to the top, this usually takes a day or so, the slime type coating just comes naturally from the interaction between the bubbles and the ladder you cant assist it so just be patient.

Bicarbonate of soda and baking soda are the same thing. Just don't mix them up with baking powder which isn't'
