hi ya ive just started getting into tropical fish again after a long break i have medium planted tank my mate made his own which is having results is it better to buy from the shop with a bubble counter so you can gauge it properly

yep CO2 is well worth having.

co2 with descent lighting and most plants will gorw very well.

In 1 month or so my vallis has grown the length of my tank and multiplied several times (3ft)
