Well... I better buy a ph test kit, and see what my readings are. Good brands? Buying the All-in-one API would be nice, but I've heard bad things about it. Any reasonably priced test kits?

I use the API master kit and it has always worked well for me.

i donno if you live in the uk but pets at home tests water. And other pet shops can do it .
Id go to your local pet shop or were you buy your fish from and ask them to check your water.
Last time i did it it only cost me 3 pound at pets at home

Actually, as much as I dislike chain fish stores, I think PetSmart does it for free. I'll try there tomorrow.
