Has anyone had any luck with buying fish online. Being stuck here in central michigan I am very limited to where I can go a purchase fish. Are there any repitable dealers out there and how in the heck do the fish get from them to me?

Please don't bump your threads. :p People will get to the post later on in the day. Most people in the U.S. are at work right now, so that's about half the number of possible answers.

They pay to have the fish shipped specially, in a cooler or whatnot, to reduce casualties.

Have you not found any lfs around you? If you find a small lfs, the owner should be willing to special order fish for you.

I'm in Podunk Wyoming and we get snowed in a lot of the year and my fish stores are in CO, so I buy a lot of fish online

My favorites

Aquabid.com

Liveaquaria.com

Both you are paying shipping, but for me at least it equals the gas money I would've paid to get to Colorado :)

I have no experience in buying online but i am planning on it and would like kmore info. I have found these websites to be useful(and cheap)

www.liveaquaria.com (as sorrell has said)

www.petsolutions.com

www.aquariumfish.net

There are many others, but they are either wholesale or shipping costs a ton. :)

yea, sorry about that. I just said that because they have a variety of fish and at resonable prices.

Well another idea is teaming up with neighbors or friends to split the cost of shipping! :)
