Buying Filter Pads On Ebay...is It Safe?

There's a guy on ebay selling 100 filter pads for a juwel compct for 6.79.
They cost 2.29 for 5 in my LFS. whats the catch, or do u think this is a genuine bargain.

I bought some Jumbo ones on a similar deal. I think they are sheets of filter pad which the person has cut up. Mine were posted in a bin liner! They seem ok to me, only difference is you have to rinse them before use. I was pleased with mine.
