ive currently got 6 harlequins and 6 bronze cory catfish was wondering if 2 dwarf gouramis would be ok and its in a 88litre tank

Hiya

Yes that would be absolutely fine. I fact, if you can try and get 1 male and 2 females. Males can be a bit persistant so it's good to have 2 females to share his "attentions".

ye i was goin to say 3 at first but wasnt sure if that would be pushing it to much lol but if 3s fine il possibly get 3 :)

I'd personally say the Honey Gourami is a better alternative since it is immune to Dwarf Gourami Disease, is smaller, less aggressive and can be kept in larger groups. You could keep 1 male Honey and 3 females in your tank.

so 1 male honey and 3 female honeys?

and what food would be the best?

I'd say flake with occasional feeding of frozen food

Frozen food usually comes as cubes in a blister pack. I just keep them in a plastic bag in the freezer. The bag is only needed as I have a squeamish husband. The cubes are a bit too big for one feed so I use an old kitchen knife to chop them up. Then I thaw them in a bit of tank water in a plastic tub. Then add them to the tank. I use an old fish food tub to keep the unused half cube in till next time.
My honey gouramis like bloodworm, daphnia and brine shrimp, which I feed on a rotating basis once or twice a week.
