Anyone know where I can get some nice bettas in western pa??? All I can find is the usual veiltail, which is nice, but I'm ready for something different... please advise!
go on aquabid.com and search under bettas for what ever tail type you are looking for. be advised the fish on there do get expensive especially if you buy from out of the country, but well worth at least checking out.
If there are any aquarium clubs in your area you could try to contact them to see if anyone breeds bettas. Sometimes clubs will have auctions for different kinds of fish as well.
There's only one store I've found out this way that has anything other than VTs and the occasional CT and quite honestly, I wouldn't give it my business. It's quite frightening, also I'm not sure I recall where it is... Your best bet for fancier tail types is going to be aquabid. Although to be fair I never sought out breeders. There IS an aquarium society in Pittsburgh and you could maybe get info off their site.
i just bought a trio of male super deltas that probably wont be here til next week, but one of them is blue with green irridecance and in not working with greens at this time so if i can get the shipping materials i can send him over to you if you would like.
