Shame you're far away, there's a great petshop near me that has the most AMAZING to-die-for CTs at the moment. I had to severely restrain myself yesterday, haha.
£8 for postage and the guy was really nice and helpful took about 8 pictures of 5 bettas that I picked out and I previously had his email as he was offering on aquarist-classifieds first 20 ppl to reply get a 40% discount as its a new store. So I am happy I will be able to tell you tommorow the actual condition of the fish and the quality of packaging.
If only you lived near me, I was looking for a HM for the last week or two and all i could find were beautiful CT's but the girlfriend only wanted a HM
He arrived half an hour ago I had been laying in from 6 drifting in and out of bed and at first thought the bell was a daydream lol. He looks great can't see any torn fins and packaging was thorough (took me 5 minutes to figure out how to open the box) it was stuffed with newspaper and 2 polystyrene blocks plus a heatpack which was directly below the fish and is still warm. My one anguish is that he was sent in a plastic bag probably holding 100-200ml of water I have never mail ordered a betta before so not sure if this is normal?
Still acclimatising him and I will be around until 1 this afternoon so keeping a close eye.
