I just got a bemblebee catfish he was hiding in some rocks but now I have no idea where he is could he be under something?

you would be suprised what a filter can suck in it. i would suggest checking inside the filter. il bet hes in there "hiding"
and where did you get that avatar? i want to use that for my website. can you please pm me a link or something.

by fan you meen impeller. and they will just bypass it into your filter.

stick your finger in the "fan" sometime, it will just stop. so if a fish whent by it it would just stop and let it go by

Have you tried that with all filters? Some are a lot more powerful than others..... Please try it on a powerful one :)

I have a 3 inch BB cat and you would be amazed how well they can hide. I have spent up to an hour with a flashlight searching in every nook and cranny of my my tank and found him nowhere only to spot him the next night.

Don't plan on seeing him very much unless you get some really dim moon lights. I only see mine out every 2 or 3 weeks unless i point a light into a very small hollowed out log in my tank.

They also have this really funny habit of eating anything that fits in there mouth...i.e. small fish.
