I have not been able to get to any aquariums at all due to exams, birthdays and public holidays, I am somewhat concerned with adding due to how many catfish are in the tank and fearing it may hurt them (but I am stressing about it for no real reason probably)

If your'e worried just try half dose of the melafix.

Infact the melafix might help one of my tiger barbs who has been missing part of its fin for months but I haven't tried melafix for it (it's quite hard to buy in Aus I found aswell) so I might do a half dose or something like it...

So Wilder if you were in my position you would add melafix (well your telling me to so I guess you would)

I don't rate the stuff that much, but meant to be good on cuts and wounds and that it.

Ohk well the Pet shop didn't have any at all...and I personally have had a bad experience with it using it after a power outage and the smell makes me somewhat ill but also reminds me of when I lost 75-90% of my fish...But looking at the BBCF the otherday much of it's wounds were healed so I will play it by ear....

update:

The catfish is fine, it was just territory fighting and he is alive and well
