About a week ago, I noticed one of my 8mo Platy fry picking on my almost two year old Red Wag platy. Her fins are clamped, and she has mucus spots by her pectoral fins where the fry has been nipping her. I'm doing a 50% water change once a week with salt. What I'm not sure of, however, is how to stop the bullying. The fry is half her size, yet it's causing her to be unhealthy and terrified of almost all her other tank mates. Advice?

New kids on the block I suppose 😅

But seriously I would seperate them. If they dont get along, just dont put them together. Its best to just remove the bully

I would separate them, however I currently have no available tanks. My tall 10g is currently home to 4 smaller fry, which the bully would definitely beat up, and my long, empty of livestock 10g is recycling after I had to throw away my filter pad

What you should do is find the cheapest net breeder box and put the bully in there until you can actually do something with him... I know it sounds mean but its to protect the other fish

I have a plastic breeder box, would that do until I can get to the fish store? I need to go there anyway for a snail and some other stuff

Yah. That should be fine! Just try to make it a quick stay for the fish in there :)
