I was watching my community tank the other night and noticed one of my pseudomugil furcatas was with the danios and not the other furcatas. So I was watching him and he was getting bullied by the others they would swim in quickly and it looked like kinda ram him and then run away. I didn't really think it was anything but a little dominance thing so I left it alone that night. But when I woke up he was missing his tail (I say he but I'm not positive that it is a he) so I moved him to a hospital tank. I want to know if he will grow his tail back. Here's a pic of the sad little guy in his safe vacation home.

Not sure how much his tail would grow back or if it would at all but I'd keep him away from the other for a while but in a breeding Tank in the larger one. Is he younger than the others? Smaller?

Yeah I have him in a small tank by himself and he is a little smaller. But it's starting to grow back.

That's good. I'd keep him in there until he grows a little bigger so about the same size as the others then put him back in but monitor the other fishes behavior. He should be ok

Thanks for the help he is doing pretty good. And I will do that.

No problem. I know I have small danios in with a beta so gotta keep an eye on them. It can be hard with fish that are smaller than others.

Yeah I have cpds in that same tank but they seem to get along perfect.
