Bullied Snail?

I just bought a trapdoor snail, and it is constantly getting harrased by my bristlenose pleco. He lat he's on to the shell and now my snail won't come out of his trapdoor or move. Can the pleco hurt him? They are both around 3/4 of an inch or 1 inch. Tank is a divided ten gallon with the snail on the 7 gallonish side.

Usually pl*cos are more of an annoyance than anything. I would think your other fish would do more damage as tetras and bettas will nip at their feelers causing them to stay hidden in their shells. Is it an apple snail or a true trapdoor snail as trapdoor snails are coldwater and don't live very long in tropical conditions.

Help, I moved the beta and the pleco to the divided side of the tank, and the tetras are not bothering the snail. I have lowered the temp to about 74 degrees and the snail still will not move. He never comes out of his trapdoor! Will he come out once he realizes that nothing is bothering him?
