Okay my fiancee my daughter and I each have a male betta (dont know why they each get to claim one as I am the one to look after them.) But moving on my fiancees betta (stunning red ct) is streamlined untill u reach his ventral fins then he is ROUND like the
O lol . So much so that the fins are being dislodged heres a pic sorry its so bad.

Looks to me as though he's constipated...how much are you feeding him? And what are you feeding him? By fins being dislodged, I would assume you mean his scales? Does he look like a pinecone around the tummy area? If it's not a constipation probelm then he might have dropsy. (photo's of examples below)

This is dropsy...see how he looks like a pinecone? From the picture, this does not look like your CT.

dont feeed bettas to much dried food as the food would expand in its stomach. feed live and frozen
