I am thinking about building my own wee rock cave for my new fish tank because cant find anything in the shops that is what i want. Has anyone got any advice on the best way to go about this, like what to use etc?

Thanks :hyper:

I use those terracotta pots that you can buy pretty much anywhere, (they also come in a range of sizes) then I use aquarium sealant to glue aquarium rocks all over the surface. It takes awhile (couple of hours) but it looks really nice and you can do diffent colored rocks on different pots. You can also use gravel if you prefer, just coat the pot in sealant and dip it into the gravel. :good:

As naughty said, its a good way to do but it can limit your design/look but its easy. Another way for those with more time and/or patience is get your rocks and silicone them together directly, wait for it to dry then move onto the next piece, harder but more freedom in design
