I've been treating a Buenos Aires Tetra for a week with melafix/salt for fin rot. He's in a QT. I thought he was doing better but this morning his tail fin looked worse. I made a water change last night and added melafix. I have maracyn and maracyn-2 available.
My questions: Which should I try first? and do I need to do a water change before starting either maracyn? Or maybe I should increase the melafix? The QT is 3g and I've been adding about 2.5 - 3ml of melafix every time I do a water change.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions I'd like to hear them.
