I just got around to changing the Burundi's substrate to mostly cichlid sand. I didn't get all the gravel (a mix of actual gravel and crushed coral and shells), but most of it. I replaced it with a 20 lb bag of heavy dark sand.
So now I have a bucket of crushed shell gravel, and I don't know what to do with it. It's probably about 10 lbs. I could put some in with the dwarf pets, they only have medium tan sand and some shells to live in. But that is just a ten usg.
What to do with the rest, while it is still full of good bacteria? haha, jayjay, it's hard for me to give up my myths.
