I filled my tank yesterday afternoon but put rocks in first :fun: and that made every bucket of water created huge amounts of bubbles.
So now today there are still bubbles covering everything, I have wiped most of them off the glass, but the rocks are still bubbled pretty good, and while stirring them up gets lots it seems like I cant get rid of all of them. Will they just go away with time?

dont worry that is just air bubbles and will float to the surface once u have a disturbance to water.or if u give it some time.u can put fish in

It is quite common to have hundreds of little bubbles appear when first filling a tank... they will disappear... nothing to worry about...

Kind of off topic but not really. Has anyone else noticed the lines that appear on the sides of your tanks when you first fill them. They are spaced about a quarter inch apart and appear to be very thin lines of bubbles. Wonder what causes that?

Addressing your question. The bubbles should dissipate with time. Out of curiousity what kind of rock did you use?

.. I think (am fairly sure) it's bubbles forming when the water heats up.
If you were to put fish into water cold, then heat it relatively quickly, they'd get something similar to the "bends" as gas bubbles tried to bubble out of their blood stream.

To me those lines apeared where the water level was when I go to fill up bucket again.

Well after 40 hours or so there are very few bubbles left :) now I can see into the tank, lol
