Years and years ago I had a lovely comunity tank with guppis, mollies etc.. and a betta and they all worked really well together.
I have once again set up a comunity tank and bought some guppies and my beautiful blue and red betta with his stunning girlfriend. Unfortinately 'sonic' my male betta didn't like the guppies so untill I decide what to do about it I have put him into one of those floating breading traps. This was on tuesday. When I get up this morning I noticed that he had started making a bubble nest in there
What do I do? Do I put his girlfriend in there with him or will he just hurt her??

Males and females should NEVER be kept together unless breeding under strict conditions. And you cant breed them in a community tank in a hanging trap.
If I got rid of her would he calm down
or do I have to accept that it just wasn't ment to be and say good bye to him
