My male dwarf gourami has been building an ever-expanding bubble nest for about 6 weeks. He and the female have mated several times but I see no eggs at all.

The question is, shall I remve the next or not?

All my plants are ending up in the nest, blocking out light for lower plants and the make gourami is a little agressive to the other fish in the community tank, especially ther female gourami.

If there's excessive aggression then, yes, destroying the nest will help. It doesn't, however, guarantee that he won't simply rebuild it. Perhaps try to increase water flow near the top of the tank to make it more difficult for him - though I appreciate this may not be possible in a planted tank...

Which brings me on to the plant issue; again, he may rebuild the nest so you'll still have this problem but I personaly don't place all that much importance on plants anyway so I'd be more concerned with how the female gourami and other fish tankmates are dealing with the aggression issue.

Speaking of the female, it sounds like you only have one. If this is the case and your tank has room for another, it may be a good diea to get at least one more female. This will reduce the stress placed on the existing female though it won't do anything about territorial aggression towards the rest of the fish.
