Bubble Curtain

Yep, it comes in packet saying "air curtain" or "bubble curtain". Got ours from Pets at Home.

or if you have an outlet that you can put your air pump into, do that. then you can have your filter at the bottom and still have it oxidizing the water.

There's no point to that IMO, run an airstone for looks if you want to. For oxygrn just ripple the surface with the filter.

how do you make a bubble curtain is it just a spry bar at the bottem of your tank?

No - basically its just an air pump attached to a long straight airstone so the the bubbles are released in a line.
aint what i think of as a bubble curtain!!!
my curtain is made of silicone rubber, can be bent, or shaped, as you like. comes with weights to hold ot down. it creates both large and small, compritivly, bubbles, and with my pump blows some bubbles clean out the tank!! oddly so does the air stone, on the same pump.

if your are looking at an Air curtain, try to avoid the black, type. ive had a few bad storys about these. and notice that some sites are showing that, at least one type, has been withdrawn by the supplier.

Yeah ours is a rubber kind of tube with two weights that we attatched to the air pump.
