This is a picture taken right when we got Bubba about a month and a half ago. He is about an inch long in this pic, and now is almost 3 inches long, growing quickly and eating everything in sight!

i know what you mean, my brother got 2 sickly 1 " oscars for free jsut after xmas, now they are 6" and 7" they eat ANYTHING!!!

No recent picture yet, but I should get one cuz he looks considerably different now! His fins have turned blackish/blue in color (maybe the lighting on the blue part) and his back half of his body is darkening as well, but it hasnt changed since then. He doesnt have his BIG baby eyes anymore tho oh well, hes my pal, he likes to play and chase my big silver dollar around, and leaves the other fish alone... weird one he is!

Right now he is in a 55 gallon, but as soon as we buy a house, which should be this year some time, we are upgrading to either a 75 gallon or even a 125 gallon, since he is sharing his tank with a couple black finned sharks.

No, he was called an albino when I bought him. I have seen blueberry oscars, but im not interested in dyed or dipped fish.

Oscars... Love them! I have a 12 inch oscar I got a year ago! He is so awesome and powerful! He jumps for food and he loves frozen krill! Monty Python is a beast of a tiger oscar! He lives in a 60 gallon by him self and loves to be softly pet sometimes. He is my wittle baby!

Hmm, wonder if mine would jump? lol Mine is definatley ruler of the tank, bullies all the other fish cept the giant danio and the blackfinned sharks... loves to pick on the silver dollars triple his size! Funny little fish!
