Brush Algae New Tank

hello

i have a tank established for over a year,
i have just bought a bigger tank and was hoping to transfer most of the original tank into the new one,
however i have starte to get a problem with brush algae in the tank especially on plant leaves,

should i bleach plant etc and take a chance transfering some of the contents,
would transfering water or gravel bring brush algae to the new tank

or completely start again
