Brown Stuff On My Plants *help*

I have a few plastic plants in my tank, and i have noticed they have started to develop some brown marks on them.

Any ideas?

Is it dangerous to fish?

Please help ASAP

When i had plastic plants i periodically took them out and cleaned them.

It just sounds like algae to me. You can get some ottos or as stated above, clean your plants periodically. It should not cause any
harm to any of your fish.

When I had fake plants, they used to get covered in brown algae, especially the top portion. I agree, just take them out and rinse/rub them clean. By the way, now that I have live plants, I haven't seen any brown algae; makes cleanup/maintenance easier.
