Brown on plants

Its an emersed grown Amazon sword, those leaves will turn brown and new leaves will grow long and narrow. So very normal for these leaves to go brown. Not a sign of deficiency

A root tab will be appreciated by swords for sure.
 
Besides the issues other members have discussed, as you are doing a fishless cycle, you are adding ammonia. A lot of plants have problems with this, though I don't know if ammonia affects Amazon swords.
