just bought some 4dkh from aqua essentials to use in my red sea indicator and wanted to no if the solution that it comes with the red sea indicator is bromothymol blue or can be used with 4dkh solution. cheers

is it blue? and does it measure low range PH? if so, i would think so

no its like a brown/orange colour same as the low ph test solution in my api kit
 
Here you go.
I've got this and it's definitely bromo blue. Out of the bottle it is a brown/orange colour like you have described, therefore you might already have it.
 
I have stuff from a dupla permanent test which I intend to use, its browny yellow colour too, I figured it was the right stuff. :/
 
tried the red sea solution and it went from blue to green after been in the tank for about a day so it looks like its working. thanks for your help :)
